Hoyseth (Trondheim), Norway

Situated on the main line between Trondheim and Oslo to the south, this site is used for validating axle loading and consist loading and capturing aggregate mass and structure cycles and for reporting trains with defective wheelsets. This site was instrumental in the development of methods for measuring and for accommodating extreme changes in track modulus. Information is forwarded to train control and maintenance depots in Trondheim. Teknis monitors performance and provides remote dial-in support.
