|
| TRAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (TMS) INTERFACE PROCESSOR |
An optional T.M.S. card is available for interfacing
with a Train Management System. Communications are via a full duplex 9600bps
synchronous serial current loop link.
The T.M.S. interface processor transmits T.M.S. display data to the Terminal
Controller via a full duplex 9600bps asynchronous serial current loop link. |
|
| TRAIN RADIO INTERFACE PROCESSOR |
The Train Radio Interface Processor communicates with
the Terminal Controller for displaying all Radio data on the six (6) line
secondary display area of the D.D.S. screen.
Communications are via full duplex 9600 asynchronous serial loop link. |
|
| ADVANCE TRAIN CONTROL (A.T.C.) SUPPORT |
| Interface card and supporting software for an A.T.C.
system to enable data to be displayed on the D.D.S. |
|
| ELECTRONIC MODULE (two piece package) |
| The Electronic Module houses the microprocessor
controller cards and power supply for the D.D.S. Spare slots are provided in
the card cage for options to expand the functionallity of the D.D.S. |
|
| TERMINAL CONTROLLER |
The Terminal Controller is a microprocessor based card
which generates the video data to drive the E.L. display. This controller
supports a split screen function with the first six (6) lines of the screen
used as a secondary display followed by a 10 line main display.
Where an option such as a Train Radio interface card is fitted and supported by
the function key, then operators can toggle data between the main and secondary
area when the operator wants to display more information on the screen from the
secondary display area. |
|
| POWER SUPPLY UNIT |
| The Standard Power Supply Unit (P.S.U.) has a wide
ranging input voltage. The unit is ruggedised for the Australian environment.
Standard input voltage is 70v DC to 120V DC ± 10%. Optional P.S.U.s are
avaiable for 48V DC, 24V DC and 12V DC applications. Each P.S.U. is fully
protected against over voltage and over current. |
